This new musical by Brian Finley and Ken Tizzard is based on the short story by Oscar Wilde. It is an enchanting story of giants and children, greed and giving, love and pain. Suitable for all ages. The cast includes Robert Longo as the Giant, Gabrielle Prata as Virginia Snow, Donna Bennett as Linette as well as the Westben Youth and Teen Chorus and friends. Edward Franko directs.

The UBC Opera Ensemble and the Westben festival Orchestra conducted by Daniel Warren.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's fairy tale opera masterpiece written during the composer's final year. For the first time, this year's production will feature a full orchestra, and will be fully staged and perfomred in German with English supertitles.
